Our client is a leading public sector organisation, operating across Scotland. Headquartered in Edinburgh, they employ over 750 staff across a network of modern offices including Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen. In recent years, they have been undergoing large-scale investment in a digital transformation that is changing how they deliver their services. As well as creating cutting-edge solutions and products, they have endeavoured to create a culture of innovation and excellence across the organisation.
Your new role
They have an immediate requirement for an IT Service Manager to join their Service Management team. You will help deliver effective management and controls around the delivery of IT services, resource planning, financial planning and supplier management. You will work with internal service and product teams to shape their operational plans and manage costs effectively. You will be comfortable working with large data looking at service level KPIs as well as financial reporting and modelling. Working closely with the Head of Service Management, you will identify process improvements and be confident in your ability to implement changes. This is an interesting role within an exciting organisation as they continue to invest for the future. This role offers lots of flexibility in terms of location, but the ability to work either in Edinburgh or Glasgow once or twice a week is preferred.
