We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead a small team responsible for delivering high-quality technical support, guidance, and industry expertise across heating, fuel combustion, and emerging electrical technologies. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in managing technical operations, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring the effective delivery of technical services to industry professionals, manufacturers, service providers, and internal stakeholders. This position requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, people management, and communication skills, alongside a passion for supporting industry standards and best practice.

The Technical Manager will oversee the day-to-day delivery of technical services while ensuring that technical information, guidance, and industry developments are communicated effectively throughout the organisation and wider industry. Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a technical management, engineering, or supervisory role.
  • Strong background in heating systems, fuel combustion technologies, electrical engineering, or a related building services discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience leading, mentoring, and developing technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience interpreting and applying building regulations, industry standards, and technical guidance documentation.
