Your new company is a regulatory organisation based in Manchester city centre recruiting a number of Investigation Officers to join their busy team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in protecting the public by making enquiries into complaints.
Your new role:
- Gathering, analysing and evaluating evidence to support decision-making
- Conducting initial enquiries through to managing the full investigation process through to referrals
- Managing a varied caseload of complex investigations, ensuring compliance with legislation
- Draft clear, concise summaries and reports for decision-makers
- Liaise with various stakeholders throughout the process
- Maintain accurate records within internal systems
- Participate in case review meetings with senior managers
- Ensure performance targets for quality and timeliness are met
- Support safeguarding practices and uphold confidentiality at all times
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information quickly and accurately
- Experience managing complex casework and varied caseloads
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to explain decisions clearly in plain English
- Ability to work within structured policies, procedures, and quality standards
- High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Understanding of the regulatory or healthcare environment
- Experience presenting information or supporting training delivery
- Experience supervising or providing guidance to colleagues
