Global insurance business looking to recruit an International Tax Manager.

This client is a globally operating business focused on delivering high-quality services to its clients and partners. The international tax manager will be supporting the Head of Tax with all tax responsibilities across the global entities of the organisation. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Corporate income tax compliance and reporting
  • Diverted Profits Tax (DPT)
  • Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) and withholding taxes
  • Transfer pricing and associated documentation
  • Oversight of outsourced tax return preparation and filings
  • Management of all tax administration and reporting requirements
  • Review of tax calculations and disclosures under UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Coordination with external tax advisors and authorities
  • Support on tax aspects of projects, including M&A, restructuring, and global tax initiatives
  • Input into tax-efficient group structuring and compliance frameworks
  • Monitoring and management of tax payments across jurisdictions
  • Driving process improvements and maintaining strong tax controls and governance
  • Supporting wider finance transformation and system implementation from a tax perspective
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, conduct risk, and data protection requirements

They are looking for a proactive team player with strong attention to detail and numeracy, able to deliver accurate work to deadlines. Communicates complex tax concepts clearly, with strong analytical thinking, and is proficient in Excel and IT systems. You will also need to have:

  • Professional tax or accounting qualification: ACA, ACCA, CTA
  • Strong knowledge of direct tax, with broad experience across multiple tax areas within practice or in-house Financial Services industry.
  • Lloyd's insurance experience is preferred
  • International tax experience including CFCs, DPT, withholding taxes and transfer pricing
