About the company:

We\'re supporting a global pharmaceutical business with a strong presence across the UK and Ireland, currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee secondary distribution and drive operational excellence across their regional network. This role will involve lots of communication across the supply chain to make sure products are in the right place at the right time.


Your new role:

In this Interim Supply Chain Manager role, you\'ll be responsible for ensuring product availability at the right time, cost, and quality. You will be managing logistics, distribution, inventory, and demand planning across UKIE. This role plays a key part in supporting commercial goals, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver high service levels and cost efficiency.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end supply chain operations including warehousing, transportation, import/export, and customer service, driving forecast accuracy through local S&OP planning and supporting product launches and discontinuations.
  • Leading inventory optimisation and shelf-life management to minimise waste and improve availability
  • Acting as the operational point of contact for 3PLs and global supply teams, ensuring KPI adherence
  • Supporting compliance with GDP and internal audit standards, maintaining documentation and SOPs
  • Contributing to cross-functional projects aimed at improving service levels and reducing costs

What you\'ll need to succeed:

You\'ll bring strong supply chain experience within a regulated or complex environment, with solid knowledge of logistics, inventory, and planning systems (SAP or similar). You\'ll be confident working cross-functionally, with a proactive and analytical mindset, and a focus on continuous improvement.
