Interim Stock Condition Surveyor opportunity to start in January
Your new company
Excellent opportunity to join a building consultancy on a temporary basis to assist with a large project conducting stock condition surveys. The contract is expected to start in January 2025 and will run through to the end of March, with potential extension into April.
Your new role
Working from the consultancy’s central Essex office, you will be working exclusively on stock condition surveys on properties in Essex and East London. As the Stock Condition Surveyor, you will conduct property surveys to assess the condition, compliance and maintenance requirements of the property. You will be expected to accurately collect and record the data on building components such as roofing, windows, heating systems etc. You will prepare reports and identify necessary repairs or defects. You will be required to travel between sites and therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you will need to hold a relevant qualification in building surveying, construction, or related field. Previous experience working with residential property conducting stock condition surveys is essential. You should live within commutable distance of Essex/East London.
