Hays Senior Finance are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join a well established Technology company experiencing huge growth based in Cheltenham.
Initially we are looking to recruit this role on an interim basis, but could well go permanent at £50,000 – £55,000 plus bonus, hybrid working and wider benefits package.
Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
- Preparation of supporting information for the annual audit
- Ensure the business follows all required internal procedures and legislation, internal procedure review and audit of compliance
- Support the production of periodic budgets and forecasts
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of subsidiary VAT returns
- Analysis and review of staff expense claims to ensure claims are within the company staff expenses policy
- Management of customer and supplier rebates
- Ensure payments are raised in accordance with agreed payment terms with suppliers
- Assist with day-to-day cash management and forecasting
Person specification:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
- Strong technical accounting background
- Ability to report financial data clearly and concisely
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated individual with strong customer focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills being able to communicate and influence across all levels of the business
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure without direction
