Interim Head of Property, East of England, £500-550 per day, inside IR35

Your new company
We’re pleased to be supporting a local authority in the region to recruit an interim Head of Property for an initial period of 6 months.

Your new role
You’ll be leading a small team of a senior chartered surveyor, 2 assistant surveyors, FM and a repairs/maintenance person. The organisation has a diverse commercial and operational portfolio with a mix of commercial, offices, industrial, leisure and operational properties.

What you’ll need to succeed
You’ll be a chartered surveyor (RICS) and will have experience of leading an asset team, delivering on asset strategy and the day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio. If you hold registered valuer status, that would be preferable but not essential. Experience of managing an externally delivered yearly valuation programme will be beneficial.

What you’ll get in return
This is an initial 6-month contract paying up to £500 per day inside IR35. The organisation has a flexible working policy, so we expect that you’ll need to be in the office 1-2 days per week, depending on workload, meetings etc.
