The company is one of the leading names within the telecommunication industry with offices based in Europe and the US.
Your new role
You will join the legal team based in London as the sole employment lawyer in the UK, working closely with HR and other functional areas of the business. This position will cover all employment matters for both the UK and other European regions. This role will report directly to the VP Legal based out of Amsterdam. You will need to hit the ground running and provide advice relating to employment matters, work closely with stakeholders, and keep up to date on UK employment law matters and provide advice on upcoming projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will need to be 4+ PQE (guidelines only) with a current practising certificate from England and Wales.
- Previous experience with employment law either at a top law firm or an in-house legal team. The ideal candidate would have a combination of both.
- Experience working with stakeholders and being able to perform in an agile legal team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
- Immediate Availability.
