Permanent HR Advisor
An exciting opportunity for a Permanent HR Advisor, within a start-up site, this will suit someone who likes to make a difference and add value, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department’s daily operations and ensuring the smooth running of HR processes. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about people and has a strong understanding of HR policies and best practices. The HR Advisor will provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR-related issues. This role is on site 5 days per week in Northamptonshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR advisory services to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, and coordinating and carrying out interviews.
- Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, absence management, grievances, and disciplinary actions, in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems to improve overall employee experience and engagement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations, ensuring the company’s HR policies are up to date and legally compliant.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on various HR topics to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with the HR team to drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic HR projects.
Experience:
- You must have experience as an HR Advisor, ideally in a fast-paced commercial organisation.
- You must have experience managing ER cases from end-end.
- You must have experience managing recruitment and selection from end-end.
- Ideally you will be qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above or equivalent.
