Following continued growth within the audit team, the firm is now seeking an experienced Audit Manager to play a key role in managing client relationships, leading audit assignments and supporting the development of junior team members.
Your new role As Audit Manager, you will lead a varied portfolio of audit clients ranging from owner-managed businesses through to large corporate groups across a range of sectors.
Managing a portfolio of audit and assurance clients.
Planning, reviewing and completing audit assignments from start to finish.
Leading and developing audit teams, providing coaching and technical support.
Reviewing statutory accounts prepared under UK GAAP and FRS 102. Managing audit budgets, timelines and resource planning.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Supporting partners with business development initiatives and networking activities.
Ensuring audit quality and compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
What you'll need to succeed ACA or ACCA qualified.
Previous experience managing audits within a UK accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of UK audit and accounting standards.
