An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced HR & Payroll Advisor to join a close-knit team. This is a permanent role offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to work within a unique global business that operates in the genetics and R&D space.

Your Responsibilities

HR Duties:

  • Provide operational HR support to employees and managers across the business.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes, including advertising roles, shortlisting, and supporting interviews.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and accessibility.
  • Support with Employee Relations casework, including absence, disciplinaries, grievances ect.
  • Produce monthly HR reports covering absence, headcount, training, and more.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, both digital and physical.
  • Support annual HR projects.

Payroll Duties:

  • Manage payroll administration for two business units, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

What You\’ll Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 5 years\’ experience operating in a HR role.
  • Understanding of payroll processes.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or above.
  • Excellent IT skills and confidence using HR & payroll systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and manage sensitive conversations with professionalism.
