This is a BRAND-NEW ADDITIONAL ROLE to the organisation. You will join the Specialist ER / HR Case Work and Advisory team looking after both Head Office and a number of regional sites in Lincolnshire – but mainly based at HQ Lincoln.
Duties will involve:
- Provide HR advice and guidance to Senior Leadership Teams and line managers on HR related matters, including the benefits, risks and implications of different options available to them.
- Provide advice and guidance on relevant terms and conditions of employment and related policies, procedures, and best practice across departments.
- Deliver a proactive and effective HR advisory service to departments in relation to a variety of employment matters including but not limited to grievance, capability, flexible working requests, discipline and absence management.
- Support formal investigations and Hearings, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, terms and conditions and policies and procedures.
- Ensure a comprehensive audit trail of case management, including updating systems, notetaking, preparation of formal letters, maintaining case files and ensuring a written record of decisions.
- You may get involved in other generalist HR advisory and project work such as HR Policies & Practices review, updates etc.
NB this role is mainly site based at HQ Lincoln – occasionally you will visit other sites in the Lincolnshire area, where needed. Therefore, a car owner is required. Can claim mileage or make use of the "car pool" subject to availability. This is a busy role so will suit someone who likes to work at pace to provide a comprehensive ER/HR Advisory and ER casework service.
NB This role is subject to enhanced checks prior to start date confirmation - therefore you must have 5 years UK residency.
A competitive salary is on offer, dependent on your experience and skill set of £30,500 to £33,600. Flexibility in hours - 37 hours a week, 25 days holiday - plus the Bank Holidays, more than standard pension, additional extra benefits.
The successful applicant will ideally possess a solid background in an ER / HR Advisory and case management, high volume and complex ER experience, and be a car owner – due to site visits (claim mileage or availability book a "pool car" to use).
