Your New Role

As People Partner, you will act as the strategic people lead for your area. This is a role for someone who is confident in navigating complexity and influencing senior leaders with credibility and data‑driven insight. You’ll take organisational strategy and translate it into meaningful people outcomes — shaping culture, capability, workforce planning and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic People Planning
    • Lead workforce, succession and capability planning.
    • Interpret financial and workforce data to generate actionable insight.
    • Provide evidence‑based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Culture, Behaviour & Performance
    • Strengthen leadership capability around performance and behavioural expectations.
    • Embed a high‑performance culture aligned to organisational values.
    • Support departments to define and deliver what “great” looks like.
  • Strategy into Practice
    • Translate organisational people strategy into clear, measurable outcomes.
    • Demonstrate impact through strategy → input → delivery → evidence.
  • Stakeholder Influence & Complexity
    • Build trusted relationships with senior experts and leaders.
    • Navigate governance, organisational nuance and unionised environments.
    • Operate confidently in a large, matrixed, intellectually demanding setting.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for an established People Partner who brings:

  • Experience operating strategically in a large, complex organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with senior, expert-level audiences.
  • A data‑driven, insight‑led approach to decision‑making.
  • Confidence interpreting financial and workforce information.
  • The ability to translate strategy into practical, measurable people outcomes.
  • Credibility, curiosity and a collaborative mindset.
