A charitable organisation, who make a meaningful impact every day supporting people with disabilities, currently seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to join them on a part-time basis (21 hours a week), for a 6-month maternity cover. (Potential for something longer term/permanent).

The Role
As HR Business Partner, you\'ll lead a small, high-performing HR team and work closely with the CEO to deliver strategic and operational HR initiatives. You\'ll play a key role in employee relations, safeguarding, data analysis, and HR projects that drive organisational effectiveness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Coach and support the HR team to deliver a people-focused service.
- Employee Relations: Advise on performance, grievance, disciplinary and capability cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and safeguarding standards.
- HR Projects & Data: Lead HR initiatives, manage HR data integrity, and provide insights to senior leadership.
- Safeguarding & Compliance: Act as a key contact for safeguarding queries and ensure alignment with legislation.
- People Strategy & Culture: Partner with leaders to embed a culture of engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion.
- Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships across the organisation and with external partners.
About You
Essential:
- Proven HR generalist or business partnering experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing ER cases and safeguarding processes
- Confident leading a small competent HR team
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Data literate with HR systems experience
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
Desirable:
- Experience in charity, public, or not-for-profit sectors
- Knowledge of safeguarding frameworks
- HR project experience involving data and analysis
