This organisation is seeking a confident and experienced HR Business Partner to join their dynamic team. This role is central to driving positive change, supporting managers, and fostering a progressive employment culture. You\'ll deliver a wide range of generalist HR services, provide expert guidance on employee relations, and contribute to strategic people initiatives.
Your new role
Key responsibilities within this role include:
- Provide first-line HR support and advice on policies, procedures, and employment matters.
- Support organisational change, restructures, and absence management.
- Advise on flexible working, maternity/paternity, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with employment law, ACAS guidelines, and internal policies.
- Contribute to training design and delivery, policy development, and people projects.
- Maintain HR data and reporting, ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Promote positive union relations and continuous process improvement.
What you\'ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Broad generalist HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of attendance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Up-to-date understanding of employment law and ACAS guidance.
- Enthusiasm for HR and people development.
- Experience in L&D, including training design and facilitation.
- Excellent written communication skills for clear documentation and reporting.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Approachable, resilient, and confident in challenging constructively.
- A positive, proactive attitude with integrity and professionalism.
- CIPD Level 3 qualified (minimum), with a willingness to progress to Level 5.
