Your new role
As a Human Resources & Corporate Services Officer (Band 5), you\'ll be part of a small, high-performing team delivering a wide range of HR and corporate services. Your responsibilities will span across:
- Providing professional HR advice on employee relations, recruitment, absence management, and equality matters.
- Supporting and coordinating people and culture initiatives, including Investors in People.
- Managing HR systems and data, including reporting and analysis.
- Coordinating training and development activities.
- Supporting corporate services functions such as internal communications, staff engagement, and compliance reporting.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- A university degree or recognised professional qualification plus at least one year\'s experience in a Human Resources department;
OR
At least three years\' relevant HR experience, including one year at Band 3 level or equivalent. - Experience advising managers on a range of HR issues.
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience producing statistical reports.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (reasonable adjustments will be made where applicable).
- Desirable:
- Experience using HR/payroll systems.
- CIPD qualification or membership.
