Hays are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Support Worker on a temporary basis for up to 6 weeks, based in Stafford. This is a full-time role to start as soon as possible.
Your new role
- Conduct risk and needs assessments, safety planning, and support planning with individuals who require housing support.
- Advocate on behalf of clients with external agencies.
- Address housing-related issues, improve quality of life, and promote independence.
- Co-create and review support plans with service users, ensuring individual needs and goals are met.
What you\βll need to succeed
- Relevant experience in housing support, social work, or related fields.
- Knowledge of housing legislation, benefits, and support services.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What you\βll get in return
This role is based in Stafford, working on site, 37 hours per week. Due to the nature of the role, you will need a full driving licence (as you will be visiting clients) as well as an enhanced DBS check.
