Experienced Housing Officer needed – ideally with supported housing experience

As the successful candidate you will manage a patch of around 200 properties in and around Croydon. You will be responsible for delivering a proactive, high-quality customer focused and efficient housing management service to residents. Although you will be dealing with general needs housing management, the clients you are dealing with are vulnerable, so therefore the client would like someone with both supported and general needs housing experience.
At a glance you will:

  • Manage and resolve any tenancy and estate management issues
  • Act as a central point of contact for all resident queries
  • Managing all resident schemes
  • Liaise with all departments to make sure you and your residents are up to date and help implement any procedures or changes
  • Assist tenants with benefit claims ensuring they are receiving their full entitlement
  • What you’ll need

  • Ability to demonstrate that you have extensive Social Housing experience, managing a busy patch. Managing any Tenancy management issues that arise as a result of the Tenancy agreement or lease.
  • Experience of maintaining successful relationships with our customers, creating trust, and building sustainable communities.
  • Strong customer service experience which demonstrates that you place our customers at the heart of everything you do.
  • Experience of problem solving and demonstrating professional curiosity
  • You need a full driving licence – pool car provided
