A fantastic primary school in Dudley is looking for a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start with them in January. Their school values are: Learning, Caring, Aiming High-Together, and they actively promote these values in everything that they do.

Your new role

In this role, you will be delivering various literacy, numeracy and phonic interventions to support small groups of KS1 and KS2 children. For this, you will be planning small group interventions with the teacher, tailoring the work to the children's abilities. Some of the smaller groups will have children with mild SEN. You will be recording the children's progression and feeding it back to the class teacher.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (QTLS or equivalent)
  • Be able to plan and tailor the work to the children's abilities
  • Supported children with SEN
  • Strong knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
