Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee daily operations of surfacing projects. Assist in developing work plans, project schedules, and material orders. Communicate daily with the crew/foreman, conducting briefings and maintaining on-site presence. Ensure work meets high standards and contract specifications, minimizing remedial actions. Monitor work progress to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve potential issues or hazards. Submit detailed daily reports with project information (dimensions, supply issues, delays, etc.). Leadership: Lead and motivate on-site teams, providing guidance to ensure optimal performance. Maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors. Safety: Ensure operatives comply with the company\’s health, safety, and environmental policies. Report safety observations and incidents, assisting with investigations and corrective actions. Conduct site-specific risk assessments to implement proper control measures for safe work execution. Ideal Candidate Requirements: Experience in a similar role within infrastructure, highways, or contracting. Have Relevant experience of Machine Laid Asphalt management or Supervision. Qualifications: Construction Management Qualification. SMSTS (minimum SSSTS). Valid CSCS card. Experience in: Asphalts and road laying. Strong communication skills.
