Your new company is a leading contractor operating across the UK and internationally, delivering projects across multiple sectors including real estate, defence, education, highways, rail and water.

Your new role involves recruiting for a Civils Foreman to join a major highways scheme involving roundabout improvements and the construction of a new 10-mile dual carriageway. You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the project by overseeing site operations and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

  • Supervise and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
  • Oversee pipejacking operations, ensuring alignment, safety and programme targets are met
  • Manage installation of drainage systems, including sedimentation tanks and associated infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Plan and manage daily site activities in line with the programme
  • Allocate labour, plant and materials effectively
  • Monitor progress and report on performance, risks and issues
  • Ensure adherence to method statements, risk assessments and permit systems
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure specifications are met
  • Liaise with engineers and management to resolve technical and operational challenges
  • Support and mentor operatives
