You will be joining a well-established and fast-paced logistics organisation based in Inverness, where you will become part of a busy and collaborative finance team in the role of Finance Administrator. Your new role

In your new role as Finance Administrator, you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance function, working closely with colleagues to ensure accuracy and efficiency across financial processes. This is a varied position within a high-volume environment, where no two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include processing daily cash postings within the sales ledger and carrying out accurate data entry of filling station sales information. You will be responsible for completing bank reconciliations, processing customer direct debits, and maintaining the fixed asset register. Alongside this, you will support the preparation of accruals and prepayments, manage purchase ledger responsibilities such as invoice processing and supplier queries, and assist with general finance administration and month-end activities as required.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have prior experience working in a finance or accounts administration position, with a solid understanding of core finance processes, including both sales and purchase ledger. You will demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data, as well as excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. You will be confident using finance systems and Excel, and possess strong communication skills, enabling you to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A proactive attitude, along with a willingness to learn and develop, will be key to thriving in this role. This role is based in Inverness, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, full-time in the office.
