Job Title: Heating Engineer Location: North London Salary: £34,000 – £45,000 (Depending on experience) w/ Van and Fuel Card Job Type: Permanent Daniel Owen are currently working with a successful Heating company who are expanding their District Heating department and are seeking Commercial Wet Workers to work in North London on one of their contracts. Commercial Wet Worker Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair pipes and fixtures (i.e. radiators, cylinders and 3 port valves) Diagnosing faults and replacing central heating components in properties served by a communal system. Conform to relevant technical standards and follow technical drawings and plans to carry out maintenance and improvement works effectively. Provide professional service and represent the company to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure inspections are recorded and faults reported in strict accordance with company, client and regulatory guidelines. Complete necessary paperwork to a satisfactory standard. Meet customer and contract expectations by carrying out works promptly to a high standard. Work safely, complying with current Health & Safety legislation.Commercial Wet Worker Requirements: NVQ Level 2 plumbing and Heating/ Mechanical services/ HVAC is required. To demonstrate and have excellent general fault finding/diagnostic skills and the ability to carry out necessary repairs/replacement of defective parts. 5 years or more in installing, maintaining, repairing, and removing heating systems within a multi-occupancy dwelling setting. HIU experience (ideal but not essential) To be able to display sound knowledge and experience within the Heating industry, including the repair and maintenance of commercial heating systems To be competent of draining down and re-filling of heating system/s to remove and replace defective/leaking radiators or associated isolation valves. Able to safely isolate and perform repairs on wet heating systems and controls. Commercial Wet Worker Benefits: Company Van and Fuel Card Holiday entitlement of 22 days in a complete holiday year, April – March. Your holiday entitlement will increase by 1 day after each successful year of employment (capped at a total of 27 days after 5 years).
