Their unique curriculum follows a child-centred approach which enables the development of the whole child as well as following their individual interests and encouraging them to become independent thinkers.
We are looking for a qualified nursery practitioner to join our team at our nursery in Hove. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting and promoting children's early education and development
- Planning and providing effective care
- Making accurate and productive use of assessment
- Developing effective and informed practice
- Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of children
- Working in partnership with the key person, colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals
What you'll need to succeed:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience working in a nursery setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education
All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
This role will be working full time Monday to Friday, with a 1pm finish on a Friday. The nursery is part of a wider community hub and benefits from an on-site chef providing kosher, nutritional and well-balanced meals using fresh ingredients and locally sourced produce. There is an on-site gym as well, where staff can receive discounted memberships. The nursery is passionate about developing the potential of their staff through training.
