This role is perfect for a candidate looking for a hands-on Health & Safety role in manufacturing and engineering with a year or more experience in a similar role.
They are seeking a Health, Safety and Compliance Officer to support with Health & Safety processes onsite, reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting with the review of Health & Safety policies, ensuring the company complies with regulations
  • Ensure timely investigations of accidents, incidents, and safety observations
  • Complete H&S training with site teams
  • Work closely with departmental managers to ensure Health & Safety measures are upheld
  • Onboarding new members of the team
  • Support the implementation of the Environmental (ISO 14001) Management System


What you will need

  • A level 3 Health & Safety qualification (I.e. NEBOSH General)
  • Previous experience in a similar Health & Safety role
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • An ability to be a commanding and influential personality across a small team
