You will support the Health and Safety Team by processing Display Safety Equipment (DSE) assessments to ensure all colleagues have the appropriate equipment, adjustments, and support to work safely. The role ensures efficient handling of assessments, accurate documentation, and timely escalation of any health, safety, or ergonomic concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming DSE assessments in line with established Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Review assessment submissions for completeness, accuracy, and any identified risks or issues.
- Log requests, track progress, and maintain up-to-date records within internal systems.
- Communicate with employees to request additional information where required.
- Escalate complex or high risk cases to relevant Health and Safety specialists.
- Support the coordination of follow-up actions such as equipment orders or workplace adjustments.
- Provide clear and professional responses to DSE-related queries.
- Contribute to reporting, data accuracy, and monitoring of assessment volumes and turnaround times.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong administrative experience, ideally in a compliance, HR, or health and safety environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload while prioritising effectively.
- Confident using digital tools, online forms, and data tracking systems.
- Clear and professional written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with DSE assessments or broader health and safety processes.
- Experience working within the Civil Service or a structured public sector environment.
- Understanding of ergonomics or workplace adjustments.
