Your new company You will be responsible for working directly with UK public sector healthcare organisations and enabling them to develop a proposition for the global market. This will include supporting their global ambitions, identifying innovations, navigating board challenges, and pricing their services.Supporting UK public sector organisations to export globally is a key component of the healthcare export strategy. The most successful UK exporters are based in London and surrounding regions. This interim resource will develop capabilities outside this area, meeting further specific government initiatives in the Midlands Engine and the Northern Powerhouse. Your new role Work with identified organisations that have requested specialist support (and identify new ones) to deliver: Export strategy documents, Supporting in developing export ready marketing material, Creating frameworks for pricing of services. Bespoke follow-up support from Export Catalyst workshops. Bid Writing upskilling. Developing an overseas exporting best practice guidebook for new exporters What you’ll need to succeed Personal Attributes & Skills Proactive and can-do approach to tasks Effective time management Attention to detail Excellent team player, with interpersonal and communication/listening skills – both written and verbal Good networking skills Confident presentation skills Essential Experience Demonstrable experience working with senior leaders in the public and/or private sector and supporting them on their exporting journey Experience or understanding of working in a commercial environment Strong relationship management, communications, and stakeholder engagement skills Knowledge of the UK health sector preferred but not essential Business development understanding and experience An understanding of the implications of working in an international commercial environment Experience of exporting or supporting organisations to export What you’ll get in return A stable 9-month contract with a daily rate of £450 a day. This is a part-time role which will be fully remote with occasional trips to meet clients or team days in London.
