Your new company As a Customer Services Advisor, you will be joining a public sector organisation in their team in Inverness. This is a permanent job, with a salary of £23,000 per year, offering up to 34 days’ annual leave across a 37-hour working week. This organisation has a flexible approach to hybrid working and are looking for someone with excellent customer service and administration skills in the Inverness area. Your new role In your new role, you will be the central and first point of contact for incoming enquiries. You will have a proactive approach to problem-solving and endeavour to provide first-class service in an efficient manner. You will be supporting vulnerable groups, tailoring your communication style to suit and acting with their best interests at heart. You will provide advice, guidance and make referrals where required. You will record all information on the customer database, including recording of complaints and escalations. A proactive approach to process improvements would be welcomed. This position is based in Inverness, with hybrid working allowed. Working up to 37 hours per week (flexible working will be considered) from Monday to Friday. What you’ll need to succeed In order to be successfully appointed to this role, you must have strong customer service skills and experience. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people is essential. You will deal with a range of issues and sensitive situations. Therefore, you must display professionalism, empathy and be able to communicate clearly. Previous experience of dealing with queries, complaints and enquiries via high-volume incoming calls would be preferred. You must have strong IT skills, with a focus on accurately recording information and conversations.
