Electrician - PO15 DBS needed Full-time | 40 hours per week | Two shift patterns

Are you an experienced Electrician looking for a long-term opportunity at a prestigious, secure site? Hays is recruiting for an Electrician to join the maintenance team. This role involves both planned and reactive maintenance and requires a high standard of technical ability.
The Role
- Reacting to breakdown and maintenance requests within agreed SLAs
- Carrying out routine maintenance to a high standard
- Testing and diagnosing power quality issues
- Conducting emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, instructions, processes and O&M manuals
- Completing upgrade and installation works as required
- Liaising with subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to required policies and standards
- Monitoring environmental conditions and critical equipment, ensuring safe and optimal operation
- Undertaking root cause analysis and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
- Maintaining accurate site logs and documentation
Shift Patterns
This role works on a weekly-rotating shift pattern: 07:00 - 15:30, 09:30 - 18:00 (40 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
What You'll Need
- 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations certification
- Experience working with building management systems (BMS), including fault finding and operational use
- FM (Facilities Management) experience is advantageous
- A Basic DBS certificate dated within the last 3 months - required for unescorted access on site
