We are currently recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client's team, covering different sites. The successful candidate will be collected daily by the Team Leader, so applicants must be based locally and able to drive to a suitable pick-up location in Cobham, Surrey.
Role Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
- Contract: Fixed-term until October 2026, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate
- Overtime: May be available
Key Responsibilities
- General grounds maintenance across various sites
- Grass cutting and lawn mowing
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Litter picking and site clearance
- Ensuring all areas are kept clean, safe, and well-presented
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous grounds maintenance experience is essential.
- Ability to use grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- A full UK driving licence is required for driving the company van.
- Ability to work well as part of a team
