As the Group Finance Director based in Belfast, you will lead financial excellence across a dynamic group of 8 business units. Working closely with the Group Leader and Group HR Director, your role is vital as you drive strong financial performance, mentor finance leads and CEOs, and support the extensive M&A growth agenda. You’ll engage in strategic business partnering, ensure impeccable financial reporting, and play a key part in the diligence and integration of new acquisitions.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Proven Leadership: A successful track record in a director-level position with extensive accounting and finance experience.
- Educational Excellence: A degree accompanied by a professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of international accounting principles, IFRS, and hands-on experience with acquisition transactions and integrations.
- Strategic & Analytical: Ability to challenge business assumptions, optimise performance through strategic financial leadership, and proactively manage performance deviations.
- Outstanding Communication: Excellent presentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate finance strategies and results to senior stakeholders.
