Your new role
As a Graduate Engineer specialising in 3D Printing, you will join a dynamic team of Additive Manufacturing experts. Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will be responsible for programming and preparing customer 3D models for printing, reviewing files for technical feasibility, and making recommendations to optimise parts for 3D printing processes. You will support the sales team during technical discussions, solve unique engineering challenges, and help optimise printing processes to reduce manufacturing times and improve quality. Additionally, you will assist with technical reviews of quotations, adhere to quality systems, and participate in R&D projects and testing requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of a B.Sc. Eng. (2:1) in a related discipline, ideally with one year of experience, or an HND in Engineering with three years of experience. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and fluency in English are essential. You must be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and possess creative thinking and problem-solving skills. The ability to multitask, prioritise, and a passion for solving technically challenging problems are also crucial.
