The role is ideal for a Building Services Engineering graduate looking to start their career with direct mentorship from chartered engineers and exposure to a wide range of projects, or a Junior Electrical Design Engineer with1 /2 years of experience looking to enhance their career development and experience by managing projects, engaging directly with prestigious clients, and gaining access to world class mentoring from subject matter experts. Your new role You will be joining as a graduate electrical building services engineer. You will have a positive can-do attitude, along with the eagerness to learn and develop your technical capabilities, helping to deliver right-first-time solutions for the most challenging problems in the Building Services design industry. You will be given guidance and mentorship from more senior engineers to fulfil your duties. Your responsibilities will include: undertaking calculations producing drawings producing specifications and reports conducting site surveys conducting construction stage duties providing client liaison consulting with members of design/construction teams and any other relevant duties required to comply with project briefs producing and reviewing electrical design drawings will be key. What you\’ll need to succeed Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering. Basic knowledge of Electrical Building Services Engineering Design. Awareness of Trimble/Amtech, Dialux, and/or other industry standard electrical design software. Awareness of Building services design deliverables – Lighting and lighting controls, Fire Alarms, Security/Access Control, Small Power, earthing, etc, across a range of projects. A positive, can-do attitude. The ambition and willingness to learn and develop your skillset in order to progress into a full Electrical Building Services Engineer and beyond.
