Hays are recruiting for a Glue Machine Operator for our client based in the Medway Towns area. This is a full-time position for the successful candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30K - £35k (Subject to experience)
Working Hours: Alternating weekly shifts; 6am – 1:30pm & 1:30pm – 9pm. Initial working hours will be double days whilst training.
Main Responsibilities of a Gluer Machine Operator:
- Producing finished cartons of various styles, complexity, and materials across a range of equipment, both efficiently and to a high degree of quality.
- General machine maintenance.
- Setting up and running straight line glue jobs and crash lock boxes manufactured from folding cardboard.
- Achieve a daily production plan.
- Passing of own work.
- Advising Team Leader(s) of any consumable stock requirements.
- Ensuring machine packers are aware of their duties and are monitored accordingly.
- Comply with all company health and safety procedures.
