A well-established and fast-paced logistics organisation based in Glasgow is seeking a Transport Administrator to join their team. The business operates a busy transport function and prides itself on maintaining high operational standards and efficiency across its distribution network.
As a Transport Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the transport office during shift operations. You will be responsible for coordinating driver resources in line with daily distribution plans, managing driver holiday allocation, and assisting with scheduling and shift planning. You will also handle general administrative duties, support customer queries, and assist with accident investigations, including organising retraining or formal actions where required. This role requires a proactive and organised approach to ensure all operational standards are met.
The position operates on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working either 18:00-02:00 or 22:00-06:00, with a salary of 26,500.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience working within an office-based environment
- Experience within logistics or transport is highly desirable
