\n We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tenancy Services Officer to join a respected Housing Association on an initial 3-month contract.This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with a strong background in tenancy management, rent arrears, estate management and customer service to make an immediate impact within a busy housing team.
\n Your new role
\n You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive tenancy management service, ensuring customers receive a high standard of support while helping the organisation achieve key performance targets.
\n Key duties will include:
\n
- \n
- Managing a patch of tenancies and ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements.
- Proactively managing rent arrears cases, negotiating repayment arrangements and progressing recovery action where required.
- Providing housing advice, tenancy sustainment support and signposting to relevant agencies.
- Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour and neighbour disputes.
- Managing tenancy changes, tenancy terminations and associated casework.
- Carrying out tenancy visits, estate inspections and customer home visits.
- Working closely with external partners including benefits agencies, support providers and local authority services.
- Responding to customer enquiries, complaints and service requests.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating housing management systems.
- Supporting wider housing management initiatives and service improvement activities

What you'll need to succeed
\n
- \n
- Previous experience working within a Housing Association, Local Authority or social housing environment.
- Strong knowledge of tenancy management and rent arrears recovery.
- Experience dealing with anti-social behaviour, estate management and tenancy sustainment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to manage a varied caseload and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using housing management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
