As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will play a key role in the fabrication and assembly of metal components, working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets required quality standards, is completed efficiently, and adheres to strict safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Interpreting fabrication and installation drawings to deliver accurate work
  • Carrying out assembly and fabrication using hand tools and equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) regulations at all times
  • Applying knowledge of manufacturing processes to optimise outputs
  • Collaborating with supervisors and other tradespeople to resolve shop floor challenges
  • Supporting team targets and contributing to on-time job completion
  • Maintaining high standards of construction, quality, and tolerances
  • Assisting with training and mentoring apprentices where required
