We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Property Services Assistant to join a busy housing association on a temporary basis, with an immediate start available. This role offers the opportunity for extension and longer-term stability through to March 2027.

You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of an efficient and customer-focused property and repairs service. Working within a fast-paced team, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for repairs and property-related enquiries
  • Raising and managing works orders in line with agreed procedures
  • Liaising with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to schedule and progress repairs
  • Monitoring jobs to ensure completion within agreed timescales and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating housing management/repairs systems
  • Providing high-quality customer service across phone, email, and digital channels

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience in a housing, property services, or repairs environment is highly desirable
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Experience working with repairs systems or scheduling/planning roles is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a target-driven environment
  • Must be immediately available
