An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications and Marketing Coordinator to join a busy, forward-thinking communications and marketing team. This role would suit someone early to mid-career who enjoys juggling multiple projects, creating engaging content and working collaboratively across an organisation.
The post holder will support the delivery of communications, marketing and engagement activity across a range of channels, contributing to campaigns that promote services, support organisational priorities and engage both internal and external audiences. Projects are typically standalone pieces or defined strands within larger campaigns, working to agreed strategies, processes and deadlines.
You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their objectives and translate these into effective communications activity. This will include developing content, supporting campaigns, helping to manage suppliers and ensuring activity is delivered on time and within budget. There is also scope to contribute to events, internal communications platforms and partner-led promotion.
The role requires someone who can confidently manage multiple priorities, build strong working relationships and take a proactive, hands-on approach. You'll be comfortable working with agencies and external suppliers, shaping briefs and supporting delivery, while also rolling up your sleeves to produce content yourself.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Experience delivering or supporting communications and marketing campaigns or projects, with a clear understanding of how different channels can be used to reach different audiences.
- Experience working with creative, digital or production suppliers is important, as is the ability to manage your own workload to deadlines and budgets.
- A recognised qualification in communications, marketing or public relations (or equivalent professional experience) is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a good grounding in areas such as content creation, social media and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience creating short-form video or interviewing for content would be particularly valuable.
Above all, you'll be creative, motivated and full of ideas, with the confidence to suggest new approaches and the discipline to see projects through. You'll take pride in producing high-quality work, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
What you'll get in return:
This role offers the opportunity to work in a varied communications and marketing position, supporting high-profile projects and building experience across multiple channels and audiences. Flexible and hybrid working is available, along with the chance to develop professionally within a supportive team environment.
Competitive pro-rata salary of between £41,223-48,021. Hybrid & Flexible working. Walking distance from both Central and Queen Street.
