We are looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to support a large-scale ERP transformation programme. You will lead analysis across key work streams, working with business stakeholders, technical teams and implementation partners to define requirements, improve processes and support the successful delivery of a new enterprise system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Business Analysis activity across the ERP programme.
- Gather, define and manage functional and non-functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
- Map as-is and to-be processes, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, UAT and implementation.
- Manage requirements, assumptions, dependencies, risks and decisions.
- Act as the link between business, technical and delivery teams.
- Provide guidance and quality assurance to other Business Analysts.
Essential Experience
- Strong experience as a Lead or Senior Business Analyst within complex transformation programmes.
- Proven involvement in large-scale ERP or enterprise system implementations.
- Understanding of the full implementation life cycle, from requirements and design through to testing and go-live.
- Strong process mapping, requirements gathering and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience working with technical teams, implementation partners and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams, priorities and dependencies within a programme environment.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP platforms.
- Exposure to Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement or Supply Chain transformation.
- Experience within the public sector, higher education, NHS or another complex organisation.
- Knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio or similar tools.
