Our client is looking for Field Systems Engineers (Electrical) to join their team. As a Field Systems Engineer, you will support the installation, upgrade, and decommissioning of IT and infrastructure equipment across multiple locations.
- Installation of desktop equipment including PCs, monitors, and printers
- Installation of structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) within depot and operational environments
- Installation of infrastructure equipment such as power poles and mounting hardware
- Supporting basic electrical and hardware installation activities
- Assisting with setup and configuration of IT equipment (training provided where required)
- Testing and fault-finding to ensure all equipment is operational
- Travelling between multiple sites as part of a mobile engineering team
Previous experience in a field-based installation role or similar is required. Experience with structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) is essential. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites is necessary.
