Your new company Hays are delighted to be working on some fantastic contract opportunities for experienced Building Fabric Clerk of Works across Glasgow & the West of Scotland, with contract lengths varying from 3 to 12+ months, as well as a permanent opportunity in Ayrshire.

Your new role There are multiple opportunities available throughout central Scotland, including a range of housing maintenance and education projects. Applications from candidates with significant construction experience, such as Site Management / Foreman, will also be considered. MICWCI is preferred but not essential.

What you'll need to succeed Projects will vary in size, stages and complexity, so a construction professional with good 'all-round' experience would be beneficial. Projects will range from defects, demolitions, roofing & rendering, kitchen & bathroom installation, EWI refurbishments, as well as new-build major projects across education, commercial and housing sectors. Applicants must have a clean UK driving licence for each of these positions.

What you'll get in return You can expect to be paid between 20 - 24 per hour, depending upon your previous experience and preferred payment method. Please be aware that IR35 assessments will be carried out on a case by case basis. MICWCI is preferred but not essential.
