An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Assistant to join a large-scale enterprise system transformation programme within a complex, fast‑moving organisation. This role will suit someone who enjoys working at the heart of change - supporting procurement activity, analysing spend, improving processes and helping stakeholders transition to new systems and ways of working.
Working closely with a central programme team and senior procurement stakeholders, you will play a key part in ensuring procurement activity is efficient, compliant and aligned to new systems and best practice. You will be involved in the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle, data and reporting, and supporting users through a major system change.
- Supporting procurement activity across a large transformation programme
- Analysing spend data to support cost control and informed decision‑making
- Gathering and coordinating commercial, technical and legal information
- Working with data teams to support procurement data migration
- Ensuring adherence to procurement policies, governance and controls
Recent experience working in a procurement environment
Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, particularly procurement
Confident data analysis skills, including strong Excel capability
An understanding of governance, control and risk
