Hays are working on behalf of a local authority in the West of Scotland who are looking to appoint an Architect or Architectural Technician to their in-house design team on an initial 6 month contract basis.
The council operate a hybrid working policy, so you will be expected to work from the office a minimum of 2-3 days per week, with the rest of the week able to be spent at home.
Projects will be varied, but you will largely be acting as contract administrator to support the delivery of a number of non-traditional housing refurbishment projects ranging in value from 5-10M.
- Significant job running / contract administration experience, ideally within a local authority environment
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Previous experience using Revit would be beneficial, but is not essential
- Good technical knowledge of planning & building regulations
- Full UK licence & access to your own car
Competitive hourly rate of 28-30ph (PAYE)
