Their work focuses on delivering non-nuclear infrastructure activities in a nuclear environment for both civil and military customers.
Your new role would suit either an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Manager or someone with the relevant background looking to take their next career step. As a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small team and delivering subcontract and materials procurement, as well as vendor performance and relationship management. You will work closely with the Senior Supply Chain Manager and functional leads to ensure that subcontracts and materials are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required specifications. Additionally, you will identify the most appropriate procurement strategies and mitigate risks related to the supply chain function.
What you'll need to succeed:
- CIPs level 4 or working towards it.
- Previous experience in procurement and supply chain management within a construction or infrastructure delivery environment.
- Excellent working knowledge of the construction supply chain in the Scottish Central Belt.
- A good working knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC4 would be advantageous).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes that support business goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
