Geography Teacher Job – Cheshire
We are working in partnership with an 11-16 secondary school in Cheshire who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time and long-term job. There is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be require, including planning and marking.
Job Description
Delivering engaging and creative Geography lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
Participating in extracurricular activities and school trips.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT’s welcome to apply.
Recent experience teaching Geography at secondary school level.
Strong behaviour/classroom management.
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
