This is a senior role with responsibility for managing staff, overseeing service delivery and ensuring operational activities are delivered effectively and in line with relevant legislation, policies and organisational standards. You will work closely with internal teams, external organisations, businesses and members of the public.

As Senior Services Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day leadership across several areas of service delivery. You will lead and support a team, manage operational priorities and provide guidance on complex service matters, while maintaining high standards of performance, compliance and customer service. The role will involve providing leadership and line management to staff, setting priorities, allocating workloads and supporting effective performance across the team. You will oversee day-to-day service delivery, providing guidance and making informed decisions on more complex operational matters, while ensuring services are delivered effectively and in line with relevant legislation, organisational procedures and regulatory requirements. You will also monitor performance, coordinate resources and contribute to reporting, planning and continuous service improvement. A key part of the role will be building strong relationships with stakeholders, chairing meetings, delivering briefings and supporting senior management with wider organisational priorities.

You will have previous experience of managing or supervising staff, with strong leadership and confident decision-making skills. Ideally, you will have worked within a complex, regulated operational or service delivery environment and be comfortable managing competing priorities. Strong organisational skills are essential, with the ability to effectively manage your own workload while coordinating the priorities of others. You will also be an excellent communicator, with strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, alongside experience in report writing and delivering presentations. Good Microsoft Office skills are required, while a relevant HND-level qualification or equivalent professional experience would be advantageous.
