Innovative investment firm based in the heart of London looking to recruit a Financial / Investment Analyst.

This client is a rapidly growing, innovative real estate investment firm focused on identifying and capitalising on lucrative opportunities across the UK and European markets. The team have recently moved into stunning new offices in the heart of London. The firm are employers of choice and the team is dedicated to excellence, innovation, and delivering exceptional value to their stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial modelling and reviewing of investments and business plans. The client has outlined the importance of looking to meet with candidates who have strong financial modelling experience with business partnering experience.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market research
  • Assisting in the underwriting process of pipeline deals
  • Transaction due diligence
  • Analysing and maintaining models for existing investments
  • Monitoring investment KPIs
  • Creating financial models and reports that convey complex information succinctly and accurately
  • Processing and interpreting complicated business and financial information
  • Writing market and financial research summaries
  • Identifying business risks and potential mitigations
  • Examining and assessing economic and market trends, earnings prospects and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
  • Performing other investment-related ad-hoc duties as assigned

What you'll need to succeed:

  • The ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
  • Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
  • Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics and economics
