Your new role
Working within the Financial Accounting, Tax & Treasury team, you will play a key role in managing treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, investment management, covenant reporting, tax compliance and financial accounting activities. You will also take ownership of subsidiary company reporting, oversee endowment and donation accounting, and support month-end, year-end and audit processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Treasury, cash flow forecasting and investment management
- Covenant reporting and treasury administration
- Endowment and donation management
- Bank and investment reconciliations
- Foreign exchange valuations
- Financial management of university subsidiary companies
- Financial accounting, tax and statutory reporting
- Month-end, year-end and audit support
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong financial accounting and treasury experience
- Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within higher education, not-for-profit or complex organisations would be advantageous
